Maintenance methods

1. Once a week, use a clean towel dipped in water and wring it dry before gently wiping the sofa to let it dry naturally. This is routine maintenance, remember not to rub vigorously as it may damage the cowhide. If you want to better protect your cowhide, you can use a care agent to gently wipe the surface of the sofa once or twice (do not use wax containing care products). This not only forms a protective film on the surface of the leather, but also prevents dirt from penetrating the pores of the leather, making it easier to clean in the future.

2. Usually, avoid oil stains, ballpoint pens, ink, etc. from dirtying the sofa. If stains are found on the sofa, use a clean damp sponge dipped in leather cleaner to wipe. If there is no leather cleaner, use a clean white towel dipped in a little alcohol to gently wipe the stains, or wash with soap of appropriate concentration. Then use a clean damp towel to wipe off the cleaner and let it dry naturally. Finally, as mentioned above, some care agents can be used.

3. In addition to daily care, leather sofas also need to be cleaned regularly. Because genuine leather has strong absorption, even if there are no stains, leather cleaning agents should be used to clean and maintain the sofa for about 2-3 months. Or use a household vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the surface of the sofa.

4. To avoid direct sunlight on the sofa, if there is often sunlight in the living room, you can adjust the position of several sofas to avoid significant color differences at regular intervals.

5. To extend the service life, it is necessary to avoid sharp objects from coming into contact with the sofa and scratching the leather, to prevent children from jumping and playing on the sofa, and to avoid direct contact between sweaty bodies and the sofa.

6. The placement between sofas should be at least 5-10cm away to maintain ventilation.

7. If the humidity in the living room is high, you can use weak sunlight from 8am to 10am for seven days, one hour per day, about once every three months.

8. If holes, debris, or burning are found, professional personnel should be hired to clean them.
